Im trying to create something simalar, and im not quite shure how to aproach it. Thanks, The sun flares are circles copied onto points scattered over the surface. I added animated noise to them with a Mountain and randomized the size, rotation and noise parameters. Then I rendered them as lines with random width and used a simple VEX Super Material shader.
