will
halo wolfwood, check out your thread on sidefx's beta forum. i did a good bit of testing on the network chop and you should be able to setup a 1v1 over the network. thinking along a little crazier lines, one could even create a multiplayer game using multiple network chops to both transmit and receive data to multiple computers! can you say 3d pong with 3 or more people playing? will

Jason
Good to see SESI nailing the bugs you report one by one, eh Wofwood? Goooo SESI! :-D
Wolfwood
The developers must hate me. Ugh... Network Pong is on hold until I figure out why these Network CHOPs hate me so much. If anyone is bored can you try Will's example on the Sidefx forum, here. OOooooooo Octapong.... sounds sexy. =D While I was eatting lunch I made a little test to see if Asteriods was doable. I got a little user controlled ship flying and firing. I just need to work on the collisions. jim.
Guest Guest_Mario Marengo
Hey Jim; Jason pointed me to this thread for a solution to something I brough up at SESI's Beta forum (embedding callback scripts into OTLs). I just wanted to say...Great Work!! -- ROTFLMAO-Great!! You're NUTS! (and it takes one to know one )
Wolfwood
Just for the hell of it I loaded up Pong about an hour ago and tried networking it again with build 6.0.286. And wouldn't you know...it worked. As of 10 minutes ago I had a poorly sync'd game of pong played over the network here in the family room. If I get time tomorrow I'll try to figure out a way to sync the games. But for now its time to work on the apprentice challenge. happy long weekend thing for those of you in canada jim.
