PKing
Hi, All: I just came across this link: http://www.visiblebody.com It's free and its interesting. It may even be useful, to some. I would have posted at the Side Effects Software Forum but, I couldn't find an appropriate category. Check it out! Enjoy, PKing
Marc
Oddly enough we've discussed this before : http://forums.odforce.net/index.php?showtopic=6578 It didn't seem like anyone was brave enough to fiddle with it back then. If you're willing to experiment then let us know how it goes . Cheers Marc
PKing
Hello, again: Pardon me, for breeching forum etiqette. I should have searched for previous posts on this topic before posting. It appears to be a legitimate enterprise. The product in question is engaging and educational. There is a requirement to register on the site. It is necessary to download a viewer application. The license agreement states that use of the application will be proctored. With Regard, PKing Edited March 21, 2009 by PKing
Marc
No problem, it was a while ago . I am sure it's a legitimate enterprise, I'm just scared of filling out multiple things with no idea of what I'm going to get at the end. Perhaps I'm just lazy. Besides, they're Simon's competition... so, professional courtesy and all that you know :afro:
sibarrick
Besides, they're Simon's competition... so, professional courtesy and all that you know :afro: Cheers Marc We now have our own real-time version of our model but unfortunately its not free. That's not our business model. I think there's room for healthy competition, interestingly though on their home page they say Argosy's Visible Body is the most comprehensivehuman anatomy visualization tool available today. This entirely Web-delivered application offers an unparalleled understanding of human anatomy. The Visible Body includes 3D models of over 1,700 anatomical structures, including all major organs and systems of the human body. Unparalleled, not really, our model contains around 6,000 components. Nuff said.
