bhaveshpandey
hey i was working on a little personal project involving POPs.... when i use a particle fluid surfacer, i was not able to use Velocity Motion Blur (i checked the options for the same..again) after a look at the details view, I realised that this node was not transferring the Velocity attribute to the surface....(details view showed a velocity of 0) I also tried to transfer colour and again, it dint really do anything.. has anyone had similar issues ?? I'm running Houdini 10. thanks

bhaveshpandey
hey Spencer thanks for the quick reply!! I did select the attributes in the Attributes tab..but still its not passing them through.. I thought this was probably happening coz of speed stretching option which I had enabled..but thats not the problem i guess after reading the help notes..I even relaunched Houdini and did a quick test in a new scene.. here's the hip file for it.. (pls let me know if you see everything alright..it might be some issue with the version or something) Thanks fluidSurfacer_Test.hip Edited June 7, 2009 by bhaveshpandey

vmuriel
That issue was a old bug, maybe you could fix it updating your houdini version.
