hey there,, was rebuilding the chain sop/vellum setup from the houdini 18.5 presentation in 19.0 and when i wire in the vellum sim in the chain sop with the objects to allign on the curves they get deformed somehow... tried some different setting but was not able to fix it. maybe some one has an idea. scene file is attached. greetings and thank you! chainsop.hiplc

Hi again, I got a simple piece of geo here which I'm trieing to convert to an animation. I tried a wire sim with a wire capture, some constraints, a rbd collision method but This chain isn't willing to behave like a chain. More so if the chain is meant to follow an animated object while swi9nging around. Could anyone show me an example on how to make this thing work? Chain chain.bgeo

Hello, I've been trying to create wrecking ball that I can use to smash into a brick wall. I made one using torus' and a big sphere. However, when I try to simulate it as an RBD packed object in a dopnet they just fall through eachother. Sometimes one will hold for a few seconds but it just falls afterwards. Does anyone have any advice? The objects are blue because collision geometry is on.

Hey Guys I'm having problems with giving two boxes, with a chain in the middle of them, the same characteristics as a train derailment. A object it hitting the train from the side, so all objects need to interact with one another. Attached is a simple file, if anyone one could help I would really appreciate it.
