Minimum Requirements: must have 4-7 years of professional experience in feature film/animation and/or game projects and a current demo reel showcasing work specifically in relevant discipline. Preferable: Some experience teaching or training artists would be helpful in this role. houdini 17 Houdini 17 Crowd System Difficulties, Help NeededHello everyone! I am relatively new to Houdini, and I am having some difficulty figuring out how to use Houdini 17's crowd system. It's a bit different than 16.5, strange things are happening, and I am not sure why. I am using my own character models and rigs, and I am having difficulty getting my animation clips to play at the appropriate time I set in the "crowd_sim" transitions. My process is as follows: ⦁ Import each clip as a seperate FBX or Merge ⦁ Bake Agents ⦁ Go into agent node, ctrl click "Collision Layer" in "Crowds" dock ⦁ Add collision capsules for main bones ⦁ Put agent to "rest" pose when finished ⦁ With "Build Collision Layer" node selected, ctrl click "Configure Joints" in "Crowds" dock ⦁ Select Agent, click Populate ⦁ Select crowdsource, click simulate ⦁ Under crowd_sim, go to "crowdsource" (POP Source node) ⦁ Go to Attributes, set Inherited Velocity to 0 ⦁ Go into crowd simulation node, add transitions Any help or suggestions are needed and would be appreciated, thank you!
Crowd Simulation Maya - Houdini - Maya
particlefx posted a topic in EffectsHello Guys, I am in early stage of Project to choose the right tool for Crowd Simulation. Assets,Animation and Lighting is based on Maya. Is it possible to use Houdini just for crowd simulation and re-use the Sim for Lighting and Rendering in maya. Advise would be helpful. Thank you.
Crowd simulation agent blinking when render outHi guys I'm new to crowd simulation. Dose any one know why some agents are blinking when get them rendered( actually the agents suddenly disappear and them show up). I add the crowd render blow. Anyone knows what reason cause this problem? crowd.mov
effects crowd walk to stand transaction problem
suchandra posted a topic in General Houdini QuestionsHi, I am doing simple crowd simulation test...The problem I am facing is, when I change condition of agents from walking to stand animation..it stops in single frame in jerk not smoothly..what I am trying to do is a smooth transition from walk to stand..I tried to stop agents on 2 conditions one is time base and another is target point position near to him...
