Hello, I've got a question because I'm getting stuck on something while figuring out karma: I import a geo from SOP and with a render_geometry_settings node I set it to treat as light with a specific LPE to make it a geo-light, except that when I get to karma to make my aovs and split them by LPE, I realise that Karma only generates AOVs for "classic" lights (dome-light) and none for my geolights - here are two screenshots, if anyone has a solution or ideas I'd love to hear them, as I can't find much online at the moment on the subject of geolight LPE in karma.

Am trying to have some light coming out from my particles and i am using a geometry light But i can't even see the reflection on the ground, i just have a little bit on my subject. I've also tried to use a sphere and copy to points with my particles but the result is very unnoticeable. Magician_Particles_V34.hipnc Ganfaul.abc ( Geomerty in the Character Animation Node )

Hey, I was wondering if I was the only one having this issue with Karma on H18 : I can't use geoLight or emissive Volume to light an other object. Any idea ? Maybe it's still impossible on the early beta version.. Sylbert. PS : I haven't find a way to setup the amount of ray limit in Karma setting as well..

Hi, Just curious to see if anyone else's having this issue with geometry lights when scrubbing the timeline... It seems that the light is forcing the evaluation of the geometry even though the light itself is disabled and has its display flag turned off. The referenced geometry also has its display flag turned off. I can tell by the Performance Monitor that the light is pulling on the SOP network. Delete the light and everything is fast again. Am I overlooking something here? Thanks!
