Hi Anyone knows any online service who can deliver the render in full commercial form. Eg:- i am using houdini apprentice, and i want to render a project in full commercial license. But since houdini fx is expensive and i dont have much income coming, i dont wanna buy houdini fx but i want something rendered out in licensed version. Therefore am looking for a online service ,where i pay less to make commerical render from my .hipnc file.
I'm looking to set up a small render farm for houdini. I am starting from zero knowledge as to how I would get mantra, sim data and alembics onto a render farm spread through multiple blades. I have used ouput nodes in the past but this is the first time I will be making them from scratch. Even if someone knows how to do it from command line, I would be interested in any information anybody can give me regarding submitting jobs to a render farm. I know this is a super vague question but I can supply information where needed. Thanks.
iFight4theUser posted a topic in General Houdini QuestionsI'm working in Windows. We've gotten HQueue running on 5 different machines. I've built a few OTLs that are stored on the server and accessible by the farm machines, but the farm doesn't seem to be seeing them. What's the proper workflow for this issue? I'm currently trying to figure out how to append there directory to the HOUDINI_OTLSCAN_PATH variable, but I can't find it listed anywhere. When adding the OTLs I'm "Adding to scanned OTL Directories", but on restart they are moved to a "Fallback Library" which sounds questionable... lol
