Hi guys, In a Vellum simulation, I would like to transform my High-Res geometries, by extracting the transform (centroid) from the Low-Res ones, so I tried to use the "Vellum Tranform Pieces" but it doesen't works properly. The thing is, its a continues (for each frame) emitting simulation. How can I fix it? Thanks for helping. Vellum_Low_to_High-Res.hip
  2. I stumbled over a problem with the transform pieces SOP when i use a timeshift between two simulations. In my setup i simulate the pieces with a rigidbodysolver, extract the points with dopimport, transfer the pieces onto those points and simulate over the pieces again. And the final step is a transform pieces. This works fine, as long as there is no timeshift between the two simulations. When i introduce a timeshift, the transform pieces SOP places the pieces nowhere near the extracted points. nested-sim-timeshift-2.hipnc
  3. Hi! I seem to be having a small issue with the 'transform pieces' SOP not working as it should. I have a mixamo animation that I have fractured and I use a 'point deform' to get the animation back onto the fractured geo. I want to use the 'transform pieces' SOP to convert my proxy geo to my hi res geo. Whenever I do that the whole thing freaks out. I have also tried freezing the pivot and copying it back to the 'dop import' points. Using the rest points does not work either. If anyone knows how to solve this problem then please let me know!   4. Hi guys, I created a sim with proxy pieces and then tried to transform the high res pieces with the sim data, but for some reason it gets messed up. I set the pivot and transforms with setprimintrinsic. Please see below. It seems to have done different things for different groups I've split them into. After the initial fracture, I've split the pieces into small, medium and large pieces and fractured the large pieces again with added constraints which I intend break later in the sim. You can see the correct size of the figure in the middle, which seem to be the large pieces. Could someone please take a look at my file and tell me how I could fix this?   5. Hi all. I'm trying to use the transform pieces sop without using a dop simulation. i'm deforming some low res geo and I want to translate their centroid animations to the hi res pieces with no luck at all. Can someone help me please? Thanks in advance. P transform_pieces.hipnc
