brain Posted June 4, 2003 Share Posted June 4, 2003 Hi, I am searching a sand shader or a sand texture for my desert. But I wasn't able to find anything, execpt two textures, which are not very good. MG Posted June 4, 2003 Share Posted June 4, 2003 Really nice photos there guys! But I wouldn't use it, myself, as texture for sand. Not that it's quality isn't alright, but I think it'd render very slowly (because of the rahter huge maps). Since resizing it wouldn't do any good, I think I'd try to procedurally try to mimick sand with VEX (VOPs) while using those photos as "reference".
