Houdini scenes complexity?

Hi all!

I'm heard what Houdini work with complex scenes very well. But today i had experiment with subject and... :(

So, i had a polygonal model with abt 328000 polygons. Houdini eat this model without any problems. But when i'm trying to subdivide this model (approx to 1300000 polygons) process take up a long time. And after finish i can't see a model coz it lost. If i'm ipdate viewport model is show up. If trying to rotate or something like that model is lost again :)

Is it any limitations on one SOP complexity?

I don't know if there are any hard limits on sop complexity, I doubt it. Do you really need over a million polys in a single sop though? You can just leave your model unsubdivided and render as sub-division surfaces, all the detail you'll ever need.
