tallkien
In the member list you can search by location on all Houdini forums, I remember quite a few OZies on the SESI boards. PM them. Besides, having these forums means you get to exchange notes with anyone anywhere

Stremik
Apparently, the winds in the land of OZ blow in all sorts of directions. Probably she's been carried away by one of them.
3__
there's a few at sydney and canberra vizlabs, plus some ex/sometime houdini users employed at various places. the program hasn't fared well against maya/max out here... -cpb
mark
Adelaide->Darwin here the post above means Houdini hasn't taken off in Australia? has the apprentice program been more successful elsewhere? Are there plans for an apprentice program in 2004? I've read both yes and no... There should be more work posted on sites like cgtalk.com to get the apprentice program out there, i.e. in the mainstream.. there must be some amazing stuff done with Houdini, where is it?? michael
or do you mean the Apprentice Challange? the Apprentice Program, as I understand it, is just the way that SESI describes their Demo version, like the XSI Experience or the Maya Personal Learning Edition
