Skybar
Is it possible to ignore a user? So that their threads/posts doesnt show up / are minimized or something / doesnt show in Recent Topics? I know I can just simply ignore them in my head, but sometimes it's hard to do that.. Especielly if they keep posting senseless stuff. Maybe it's just me, I don't know
michael
if you hover you mouse over a post from that person you'll see, just under the Like This button a grey X hovering over that says 'Ignore User' I haven't ever tried it - wouldn't be a good idea for an Admin to ignore anyone HTH
Skybar
Doesn't seem to show up - maybe it only shows for you, since you are admin?
eetu
I can see it on your post but not on michael's, maybe we mortals can't ignore an admin?
ayidi
That's for ignoring the signature:
eetu
That's for ignoring the signature: Ohh, I see. I didn't dare click on it, I just saw that the url for it had #nnnn-ignore-user in it
Skybar
Oh thanks guys, I was either hovering over myself, michael or a user without a signature - so it didn't show up at all. But yeah it's only for ignoring signatures sadly, back to square one!
Skybar
Oh wait I found it, I never thought to go in there. And it does precisely what I want, it doesn't strictly remove everything from that user but rather it "minimizes" it - and in a thread I can still choose to view that post by clicking on it. The Recent Topics and threads still show up though but that doesn't matter too much.
