Flip stick on surface per object

Recommended Posts

Is there a way other than "Stick on Collision"? So that the fluid sticks on an objects surface but not all objects?

I made local attraction forces with vector fields bad the results or poor in comparison with  "Stick on Collision" option.

Imagine a cylinder on the floor and the flip sticking on the cylinder but not the floor. Is there a way to a achieve this?

I tried Viscosity but it always look too thick even when I turn it down to almost zero.

I hope I am ignoring some magical " Make it Sticky" node... :)

you can use Control Field in Gas Stick On Collision node or directly on FLIP Solver to influence the amount of stickiness

here is a nice example of using painted attribute to generate such control field and use in DOPs:

to make that scene to work you may need to bypass (or delete) /obj/emitter/add1 node
