Yader
Is it possible to chamfer edges with Houdini like we can see in this image: I tried Starburst, Divide, PolyExtrude and PolySplit SOP to no avail. Something like this should be easy, right? Edited June 10, 2015 by Yader
kgoossens
Try PolyBevel
Yader
Thanks very much Kim, I used High Density Round And All Edges with an Absolute Inset, works flawlessly. Is it possible to get the original shape back, with the Ray Sop for example - as the PolyBevel rounds off the edges? Atom
Of course, just fork the network right before the PolyBevel.
anim
... Is it possible to get the original shape back,... if you change Bevel Type to corner, it should keep the original shape
stevegh
@Tomas it does but the edge flow is different:
