Intro to RBD tutorials?

Recommended Posts

Depends if you want a quick self contained scene you can easily pull apart (my preference), or a long video tutorial.

I have a few examples on my site, including a clean way to emit multiple packed shapes into an rbd solve (courtesy of Anim here on the forums), should be a good start.

This is a tutorial on digital tutors which is a brief introduction to houdini and the RBD system.

The tutorial is from houdini 9 but I did this tutorial 2 years ago when I started on houdini, and you can easily follow along in a newer version.

also to make sure you understand how the RBD and Collision relationship works, this tut is really good as well

Thanks for the link Matt!

Once I've got a grasp on FLIP Fluids I want to turn my attention to Rigid Body Dynamics, so these will be a great help!
