jiayujinn
Hello everyone, I would like to ask about how to import an open vector illustrator file in houdini to make an open curve? My ai file is saved as ai 8. Please see the files I attach below. Thank you so much! Fingerprint.ai (.ai) (.c4d) (.hip) Edited June 23, 2016 by jiayujinn
Atom
Just save it out as a .abc from Cinema4d and bring it into Houdini. The Illustrator workflow is limited in Houdini. fingerprint.abc

lukeiamyourfather
Zombie thread alert. I figured I'd share this solution for folks that come across this thread in the future years later like I did. The Ends SOP node can be used to delete the loop so the curves are open instead of closed. Set the Close U parameter to Open and it should work. 2
