Bakiki
Could someone explain how to render a pyro smoke effect with redshift. I can render a basic volume by not a pyro. I would appreciate it some could provide a simple hip file with a basic sphere converted to any pyro with the applicable shader. I'm trying to get my head around how to connect a volume shader with a pyro.. Many many thanks

Bakiki
Thanks for the suggestions. I have seen both these and yet I can't get an rendered image. Is it a case of just adding a RSvolume with those settings the pyro_import of the sim? Doesn't work for me...? Thank again
mine
it worked for me when I tested it. Maybe you can share your hip file?
Bakiki
It's probably a really obvious mistake I'm making. Here's the hip file.... pyro attempt.hipnc
mine
I can't see the problem, it all seems right, but it doesn't seem to be a problem in the redshift shader because your volume doesn't even render in mantra, right? Bakiki
It renders in mantra when I put a pyro shader and mantra rop....?
Sepu
well you uploaded a .hipnc which redshift doesn't support. you have to have indie or fx to render with 3rd party renders.
