Jesper Rahlff
Hey guys. I need someone to take a look at my scene and tell me why it keeps crashing using the UV Flatten node. I have in the file a working example, and then a non-working one. there is only a few operations in difference between the to uv flatten setups, however one of them is not working. Any help, or confirmation that this is in fact a bug and not just me overlooking something, is appreciated. Noobini
01) if you disable the sort, it works 02) now reenable the sort it will crash if you sort only the points 03) if you also sort the prim by same method, prox to point...it works.... don't ask me to explain...coz I wouldn't know how to... Jesper Rahlff
hmm strange that you can get it to work with adding prox to points on the prims as well.. if I do that I still crash.
Jesper Rahlff
however disabling the sort works, however I kinda need to sort my points for the shortest path to work as intended.
Noobini
I'm on 16.5.473...if that helps also, in the orig setup, if you reverse the point sort...it works......but are the UVs correct this way tho ? Noobini
ok, so if I reverse point sort...it works....if I now apply the same logic to the create_groups....ie. I swap start/end groups...it again crashes therefore the sort is not agreeing with your create_groups somehow...
Jesper Rahlff
I tried the reverse point sort as well, but it did not work for me. it kept crashing
