lynbo
If you go to the WIP section you will see a Piece I did in Houdini. www.lynspace.com click the WIP button It is a spoof in the nature of all those great commercials from Robocop. The Omni Consumer Products corp. This could be their home security system. Anyway enjoy!

Visual Cortex Lab
eheheeh yeah I'd love to have one as well for my flat.... I'd fix the 3D tracking and the Flames shaders.... my personal critiques... but its really cool and wish to see what's "behind the camera" ehehehhe :D

I had a different animation in an earlier version that I tink I may have liked better. When you sat the metal shader do you mean the anodized black body of the gun itself? Definatly still working on shaders and materials.

Thats what I get for shooting DV. I seem to need to work on the Muzzle flash. Thats two for two. Now that I look at it I need to upload a higher quality Quicktime. Thanks . Jason
Nice job there! Funny stuff! Personally I think perhaps there is too much drag on the casings, that they slow down too fast after their ejection. It kinda looks like they're hitting an invisible wall right now.

Ah yes Now that you say that I see it too. I could'nt put my finger on it but thats it. I thought about colliding them with the house Geo but have'nt yet. stevenong
That looks cool! I think the recoil needs to affect the whole gun, not just the barrels. Maybe the two ammo links can shake a bit more. Other than that, where can I buy one? Cheers! steven

I like shaking the ammo belt, overall I will try to get more action out of them. thanks

Made me laugh Looks like it was a fun project Yup! Good fun overall. It seems to take me longer to get to the 90 % mark in Houdini, than say... any other package, but once there I still seem to have another 90% of latitude whereas in say... any other package I have about 2% latitude left. BTW I liked the i3D smoke plume that you did. That was a good exercise I'm sure. Thanks Hopefully I'll have an update on this in another day or so.
