But I found myself using Houdini more and more for 2d work, including making a sketch or etch style of pictures like these. I did it using sops, and while I imagine there is at least a million ways to do that in Houdini, it was bloody fast, took just a few nodes, and with plentiful variations. 8 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Atom Posted March 7, 2020 Share Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) I'm not sure how aivarasG generated those points, but you can use the non-intersecting sphere setup along with an attribute from map that converts luminance to density. If you supply enough points and have a high quality image you can approximate the look.
