sirogi
clarification: "pimp of magic" is the name of a new user who just joined, and he happens to be french....hence the reference in the initial old post.... I *was* hoping we'd focus more on cloth than the "pimp" thing...
michael
I haven't used it myself but I've heard very good things about this plugin, very fast to solve and esy to use...unlike Maya Cloth...
betty
i've also heard this is really good. i suppose the chances are houdini will not get a version. this also makes me think about joe alters hair, as in that other applications are getting these extra plug-ins which are of a pretty good quality since they are developed by a company specialising on one thing, ie hair, cloth etc.. i also notice they are 'mostly' character based though of course can be used for many other reasons. makes me think houdini escape will have a tough time without these obvious 'extras', again it's the publics perception that since they will not have these that you probably can't do it. btw, this also reminds me martian labs developing "hydrous tools", what happened to that. there was a beta version, did anybody test this? and has anybody done cloth in houdini?
