ofer Posted December 15, 2006 Share Posted December 15, 2006 I just got mine and watched it. It is very orginized and well teached, but too basic. I spent about a week working with DOPs alone, and learned almost all of the DVD's material. So I really expected to learn more from it. The case-studies are very good looking, but I think they are not described deeply enough, or are not complex enough. For example, I would really like to see how the house model was modelled as different pieces, because - As craig says - this is the most time consuming process. I also think the bowling sequence is not good enough, compared to the others. But thats not to say I havn't learn anything, of course. The DVD goes into detail about how to use keyframed animations with the simulation, expressions, exporting data and shows some nice tricks here and there. I liked it alot. Thanks Hi, I' m watching it on linux [ubuntu] and yep they are in the bin / Misc / Generic Files as .mov files [not hidden] And the DVD is pretty cool actually.
