capinXcrunch
Hello to all: I was curious about how I setup mplay to startup using Double buffering. Is this possible? My work computer is insanely slow, and it is a pain the ass to click "alt+b" everytime a mplay window opens up. On a side note, I would like to thank Jason, Marc, and Val for being so nice @ the HoopLA meeting. It will be interesting to see how sidefx attacks the simulation vs. keyframe battle, and pretty much I think this sums up the rest of the meeting. TheUsualAlex
Can you please tell us (unluck folks who couldn't attend HOUPLA) more detail about what was discussed at the HOUPLA concerning simulation vs. keyframing? I'd love to hear more about it. Thanks! Alex
edward
Put the -b d as your command line option in the appropriate profile. Open up mplay and under the Options menu, choose Profiles. I love the slug image!
michael
I heard from a guy that it was a huge fight between the Simulators and the Keyframers...fueled by Natchos and Beer....
Marc
And in the end, the beer won
will
yea, but only after the beer had a bellyful of nachos!
Valerie
There was beer? One _needs_ beer to debate keyframing vs. simulation. I vote for solid simulation creation and keyframe tweakability on top!
