rdg
do you have images without edge lines? Just a vanilla Houdini. The approach I use works best if shaded with constants ... as you know I hardly use non-constant materials or lights at all. If my way of creating geometry is smarter than a brute force copySOP can be left for esotheric discussions.

rdg
Thanks! I reread the rules and must admit that I need to work on my poly count, though So here it is: Less polygons, higher detail and also higher render times. It also addresses the selectiveness feature - in this case greebling by primitive area. I guess I followed this route for completeness. Hazoc
Bling Bloom BangTried to get some new shapes on to the greebles. This somehow attracts me. It's like a level from some weird weird puzzle game. I wonder what a night shot would look like. All those signs glowing like neon lights:)
rdg
Final submission As I won't have time tomorrow I attached my OTL, a sample scene and an image. Neither night nor puzzle mode made it into the release candidate. The OTL exposes a stamp parameter for antennae and stuff: stamp("../rdg_greeble1/copy_antaneas", "pnum", 0) Path to rdg_greeble depends on your setup. rdg_greeble.tar.gz Edited October 21, 2008 by rdg
