It's Baldy McNobody!

Looks great, the ear is a bit flat on it's outter plane, but other than that, great job. Did you actually model it in Houdini?

Hey, do I know you? Yeah it's modelled in Houdini, and the ear is a pain in the butt.It didn't subdivide well. Here's some topology....

good job :)

Overall pretty good except the ear area.

I think you need abit of work in that area.

Hehe I don't know who he is .He looks like new superman to me. :P

funny to see alot of modeling wip in houdini even thoug Houdin is well-known for particle and fx . :oneeyedsmiley02:

Peace.

Hey, good job there.

I'm not sure if this is how your target human really looks but the bridge of the nose in the front view looks pretty broad.

Keep it up, I'd love to watch development on this one. Don't forget to give him hair using the hair shader available here in the Rendering forums.

Thanks fellas. Yes, I have alot more work to do since no one seems to recognize him. Maybe when I fix his ear, then everyone will! :D

I'll keep revising this model untill someone finally get's the answer! Should be quite fun, and funny!

Before I started using Houdini, I had the impression that modeling was poor in this package as well, but comparing it to my experiences in Softimage XSI, 3D | Extreme, and Maya, there's no reason why this bad reputation should persist. It just takes more time to learn, that's all.

Oh my! Hahahaa! Ahem, a week of Mongolian dust efficiently acted like some kind of facial putty. And the eye-pierce is sooo last year. It's a nape thing now.

Plus Mario's subsurface scattering shader for the skin!

Hey Jim, how about some hints? I assume he's a celebrity?

Hair and subsurface aren't really my priority, but I'll give it a try after I rig him up and do some blendshapes.

But I'll need alot of help from you guys! I tried grooming hair once in houdini and it was a pretty bad hair day

.

NO HINTS! - not yet. Let me work on him a little more to try to capture more features.
