Hi guys! I'm trying get show frame every N frames (in COP) like FDFX (show every : N, attached images) but I'm not get it. Is there node or expression that gets this like $F%2 or similar? Thanks.

Hello everyone. I have a long sequence where changes happen in the geometry, I have an attribute that changes to 1 whenever the geometry change happens. I would like to store which frames the attribute jumps to 1 in something like an array, does anyone know whether this is possible in VEX? and if so how? I hope I am clear enough in what I want.

i am trying to render out specific frames from my timeline, can this be automated and saved out to disk? i would like to have control over which frames exactly or control via a pattern, for example per 10 frames render

Hey all, I am quite new to Houdini and am wrestling with an issue. I have used table import to add a list of values to a set of primitive's attributes. The attributes of the primitives is then set to change to the next columns value in the list every ten frames. I then poly extrude by this value. Therefor each primitive extrudes by the value it has been individually given which changes every ten frames. This however means that the animation is not smooth and jumps every ten frames. The best way I thought to smooth this was to find the sum of the current frame and following 9 frames and then dividing this value by ten. Therefore finding the average value over the ten frames and smoothing the transition between values. Is it possible to write such an expression? If so how would it look? Cheers

Hi there!! I want to work between frames, that means I want to do some calculations in t=1/frame 1 that will affect values of t=2/ frame 2. More presicely I am importing csv files that show happiness numbers per 50 years. For t = 1, happiness = x. What I want is to say that when t = 2 and happiness = y, substract from happiness 10% of its value, i.e. happiness = y - y*y%. In the end I want to apply this policy to all the coming frames; if (factor < 5%) { @hapiness -= hapiness*10%; } How can I do that?

Hi guys, I've got a bunch of points ( 63 ). I want particle explosions to happen (by simply emitting 50 particles per point) at each point. But I don't want all those explosions to happen in 1 frame: like real fireworks ('cause that's what I'm trying), those explosions happen fast after each other. For example: in frame 1 I want point 0-5 to emit 50 particles, then in frame 2 I want point 6-10 to emit 50 particles etc. How do I do this? Thanks! Felix

Hello, I recently upgraded my project from 12.1.33 to 12.1.125. Apparently some things have changed: copy stamps don't work the same anymore I think, but I mostly fixed that by replacing that with for-each nodes. Another thing is that it now seems to re-evaluate group nodes each time I change frame... Is there any way to disable this? As this costs a lot of time, while the groups stay the same. This takes a lot of time, as it automatically updates all the nodes under each group node as well, even if they do not change either. Is this intentional, or some kind of bug? As this is not the case in 12.1.33 Thanks in forward.
