  1. Dear Forumers, I have an issue with a scene I am doing. I am making a car crash for my reel, and learning how from a tutorial of a helicopter crash by Steve Knipping. I have come across this error: Warning Invalid source /obj/fracture/rbdconstraintsfromrules1/switch_use_proxy Error: Not enough sources specified.. Unable to cook the test input. Unable to cook the test input. in an RBDUNPACK SOP. I have gone through my networks and some options a few times but cannot work out the problem. Any help much appreciated. THANKS Nick PS: I deleted the original geo node with the car fbx to make .hip smaller, my current geo is in a cache and bgeo.sc attached CARCRASHforODFORCE.hiplc filecache_body_fracture_v1.0001.bgeo.sc
  2. CG Forge just released a new course that's perfect for those who are new to RBD simulations! Check it out at cgforge.com
  3. Hey guys, I am working on new personal project and I would like to share some playblasts I did. I guess it's useless to say where this idea comes from This was the first iteration. I kinda liked it but I decided to move on and do some other iterations. THe splitting was a bit unnatural. After finalizing the RBD setup I started with the main fireball. Here is a playblast of it. Could be better. That's the current stage of it and I don't think I will have time to do more versions. RIght now I amrendering everything and started to work on the secondary elements. Updates soon, I hope
  4. Hi, I'm currently working through Steven Knippings Applied Houdini Rigids 3 series and just got a bit stuck at the section where he converts hard constraints into glue constraints using a Prim wrangle inside a SOP solver. I've looked into the geo spreadsheet and it seems to do the conversion but the problem is when this happens the strength should be set to -1 and never break apart but instead all the pieces break apart and go flying. Tried messing around with different strength values and methods but can't seem to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated. I've included the project folder with some flipbooks and screenshots of what I'm talking about. Thanks Heli.zip HardConstraintTest(ODForce).avi
