Follyx
Searchin for the comfortablest external sript editor. Quiet know I'm using sublime with the exhelp package from Andras Kiraly and the vex syntax of Shawn Lipowski. Any alternatives?
jrockstad
On the old Houdini Exchange site there are Vim syntax scripts for both VEX and HScript - I found the VEX syntax to be lacking what I would consider to be some important keywords, but it's not terribly difficult to modify. Vim may not be the most immediately 'comfortable' text editor but it can be an extremely fast and efficient tool if you're willing to spend some time with it. Atom
I use Programmers Notepad2 on Windows and colorize VEX as C++. On OSX there is no acceptable text editor except in xCode.

Follyx
Ok, thanks to all. I'm satisfied now. Will give the one from Pusat a chance and compare it with sublime. Attachement is a sublime package with all necessary Files for Houdini in it. The second one Paul Winex python Editor from above.
