Hi all.

I have modeled an ATST (biped vehicle from Star Wars) like vehicle for a Houdini course.

These are a couple screenshots:

It is my first complete poly model, and i have found Houdini a little tricky in some areas but very powerful when you are used to it.

Hope you like them.

Yes this model surely will suffer a little :)

Well i will begin the rig, it is going to be my first rig, so i hope i will do it right.

I have to make the textures and shading too.

And yes keltuzar, it will be used in a short future in some effects, maybe with DOPS.

The Rig is done!

Well, is the first mechanical rig i have done in Houdini.

And here is a video showing some animation controls in action:

Looking great, lisux! The controls for the head look very solid and simple to work with, and I your mechanism for handling the hips works well (allowing them some flexibility).

Your controls for the legs and toes are pretty good, I'd love to see you take it a step further by adding a "reverse-foot" or "foot roll" setup for the feet, that would do a lot for your ankle and toe manipulation... Nice work, it's looking great!
