Wow, lisux, great work with polys!

We don't learn rigging in class.  I tried learning it on my own, but couldn't find a proper workflow for animating.  Is it very complex?

My first experiencies with rigging in Houdini have beeen very stisfactory.

We begin to tech an introduction to rigging in Houdini at the Houdini course at AT the next week, for example some Maya users find the Houdini workflow very intuitive when they uderstand the application philosophy, so I think that the same will be with rigging.

Ok i get enough time to continue with the ATST project.

I have finished all the texures, animation and renderig.

Here is a first compositing test and particle motion.

About the lighting i think i have to adjust a bit the color grading and contrast, and fis the speculars, a thing a little of blur for the speculars wiull solve the problem.

For the particles, mmm i like the dust disipation but not the dust emision, maybe I have to make smaller particles to get finner detail at particle birth and tune the particles sprites rendering.

But is a first attemp for particles!

Other effeects I can add?

Finally the project for the Aula Tematica Houdini course is almost done!

Hope you like it :)

Hey lisux,

Looks good! It's Star Wars, so I'm all over it. :)

I've been meaning to ask you about the feet - are you having some faceting issues there? I can't tell for sure, but you might have some interpolating normals where you don't intend to.

Again, very cool!

There is a problem with faceting in the foot.
