Houdini 8.1 Released

Houdini 8.1 has now been officially released and is available on the website. There is also an article outlining the new version at sidefx.com. One thing to note is that Houdini's compositing features are now included in Houdini Escape to help support the lighting workflow in that product.

One thing of note for apprentice users. The maximum render resolution has now been raised to 768x576 pixels (to allow Full PAL encoding).

It seems like SESI's market is growing in middle-class area, so it's worth to disperse rest of their doubs about Houdini investment. "Good move and good luck, America" ;)
