Anyways, basically, as long as you use Houdini (wheter it's the Apprentice or full version) non-commercially, everything should be alright. Apprentice just makes things a little better controlable, especially for Side Effects Software, and accessable for the common people. Well, I mean; you people, of this fine Houdini community, aren't like most Maya/Softimage forumers that totally go insane on people: "YOU BUY THE ***** SOFTWARE!!...." lorduk Posted February 4, 2003 Share Posted February 4, 2003 actually I have even tried the lic-gen I stumbeled upon in overnet search and to my suprise it worked!? just enter the server name, server code and version (major, minor), voila.... But just when you put out a non comercial version - it is just better than a pirate because it is legal to use, so I do not see a point using the crack whilst the Hudini community is so small that I supose that it isnt that hard to keep track who has a legal lic?
