jason_slab
hey looks great, love the "glowy" bits only thing bugging me is that the chrome parts look a little plastic! jason
Netvudu
oooh...Very nice. Does it have a cool rig or is just "posed" for the stills?

sanostol
Thanks! chrome could be improved, I agree. I want to add a animation soon. and yes it is rigged completely. It is a older project form this topic: rig Martin

stevenong
That looks great. How long did the renders take with eight cores? Like everyone else, I would like to see it in motion too! Cheers! steven
edward
Incidentally, does clicking on the image actually go to a usable link for anyone? It never does for me.
edward
sanostol, great job! this is going on my background wallpaper list
sanostol
Cool @ Edward: I rendered a 1920*1200 Version if You want it, here You are. @ Stevenong: Rendering still takes some time ( 60 minutes for HD), too much time but it is a good example to study the PBR, that was the main intention. But I will do a little animation for sure. @ Netvudu: Flipping what? As long as You keep the twist below 720 degrees, there is no flipping Martin
edward
Was this rendered in Mantra?
sanostol
Yes, I have only a HD version . Why do You ask?
edward
Just double-checking because it would be embarrassing to tell other people it was done with Mantra if it was not.
Jason
Very nice picture - if a little underexposed Are you rendering with H10? Or H9.5? Cool @ Edward: I rendered a 1920*1200 Version if You want it, here You are. @ Stevenong: Rendering still takes some time ( 60 minutes for HD), too much time but it is a good example to study the PBR, that was the main intention.
