  1. Hi! I'm currently working on some building destruction (applied houdini II v2) and I'm completly stuck because of one node, the "transformpieces". I use it to make my contrains follow the motion of my proxy geometry being simulated, but it just collapses my constrains into a big mess. Here is what it looks before: (image 2) And After the transformpieces: (image 1) And here is what I have in the 2nd input of the transformpieces: (image3 & 4) I've looked a bit for this problem on internet and some people had the same issue but got no answers... So I hope anyone will know why this is happening.
  2. Good morning Guys, I tried to setup a constraint between connected geo with different approch for the RBD sim but I can't solve it correctly.. It missed one direction ( in red on my printscree) and I don't know why.. Thank you for your advices. It works with the red arrow direction: If I keep only 2 pieces in the other direction, there is no connections
  3. Hello everyone ! I've got some issue with a rbdbullet solver, most precisely with rbd constraint. I'm trying to simulate a props destruction but in the same time I want it to be pinned constraint to another object (who is animated in the scene), and i can't find the way to do it. ( the props to sim is attached to another object who moves and in the same time is simulated a rbd bullet solver). I tried with the new rbd configure, pin constraint, I use bound from another object but went the parent object move, the sim props loose the pin constraint. maybe i'm doin it in the wrong way... If someone wants to take a look I attached the scene Shear Test 05.hiplc Here is a more explicit picture. The green is the object simulated, the Blue is the static bound geometry and the Red is the pinned animation constraint. I want the green to be attached to the red. Can comeone solve my problem ?   4. Hi all, I am trying to do an fx with ashes, I have an alembic animation of a paper and trying to animate pin constrains over time. To keep the cloth follow the animation I have to increase the breakthreshold in the pin constrain, depending on the velocity deformation you will need to increase the breakthreshold, I am using a dopnet to update the breakthreshold attribute but it seem I am doing something wrong. Hi, Any one please explain me how to attach based on point groups to attach two or more cloths together (similar to component to component constrain in maya) Attaching with animated objects based on groups works fine but if both are cloth objects constrains won't update while simulation. Also my simulation freeze after frame 62 any one please guide me a proper approach. Please check the attachment for reference Cloth Constrains Issue.hip
  6. Beginner here, I am trying to change the geometry constraint from a hard constrain to a glue constraint at a certain frame using a wrangler data inside a SOPsolver. I get a "bad reference" warning in the relationship_geometry node but I haven't been able to find out why. Any help is very appreciated.
