  1. Hi, I am looking for way to create Material Stylesheet programmatically using Python. However, most of the search hit on stylesheet talks about UI stylesheet. Is there specific code example which illustrate how one could create and manipulate them ? Cheers
  2. Hi, I am experimenting using Material Stylesheet in assigning shaders to prim group in packed primitive. I am using the Moana Island dataset as my experimental input and hence their prim group names (which contains number) I noticed that if I use wild card to match the names and skip the numbers, the material assignment is successful whereas if the value contains numbers, the match does not succeed and hence the assignment is not perform. Is this a known limitation or a bug ? I am very new to material stylesheet usage. Cheers
  3. Hi. Need help ! I am instancing redshift proxy object (Human character with primitive groups like shirt, pant, skin.. etc ) using "instancefile" attribute and using stylesheet to render it. I am not able to access subtargets and randomise any material parameter (like randomising basecolor of subtarget shirt or pant). I am able to do this using mantra and stylesheet but similar approach (targets and subtarget) is not working for redshift. In the stylesheet, the Target is set to point instances; I tried accessing primitive groups on the instanced object by adding subtargets to the target but it does not work. Can someone please help me with this. Thanks
  4. Hi, I'm trying to setup and use stylesheets with redshift and not having much luck. The main thing I'm trying to do is override the redshift Object ID so that I can have unique IDs appear in the cryptomatte per point. All I've done is a voronoi shatter, then assembled them with packing on. I haven't had any luck past this point. If someone can point me in the right direction would be helpful or propose an alternative solution. The only other thing I can find or think of is assigning per point materials but this is out of the question since there will be 2000+ points. The post here seems to mean that this is possible: I've also gone over the Mantra way of doing this here several times without any progress: http://www.sidefx.com/docs/houdini/shade/stylesheets.html
  5. Hey guys, Any idea on how can I apply an image sequence on multiple objects? I have this set of grids and a sequence of textures to apply on it but it can't be randomly. My first thought is through stylesheets (like on crowds) but i'm not sure if this is the best approach. (the original setup doesn't have a copysop though, so I can't use stamps) this is the jpg sequence i have: Scene file is a attached Thx RnD_Texture.Sequence_v100.rar
  6. As I understand it, stylesheets give you the opportunity to have multiple conditions per override. I have basically organised my stylesheet with a material per override and then I add in the material assignments per geometry with conditions. However, I have geometry that drops out and renders default grey if I have multiple conditions on the same override. Does that sound familiar? Am I doing stylesheets wrong?
