Any other suggestions on how to take a large wavetank sim, and crop just a small swatch, to do whitewater testing on, instead of the huge tank? I need to take the compressed fluid cache, and crop out a small bit. Tried something like this which sort of worked, but the whitewater source changed completely, so I am guessing I am screwing up something? Cheers! this is the ww source before cropping - this is ww source after, completely different as if it has more curvature?

Ocean experts - what is really the difference these days between a Guided Ocean and just a Wave Tank? Are Guided Oceans just legacy and no use anymore? Pros and Cons? Cheers!

Can anyone explain to me why I cant see the waves in my wavetank_fluid_extended? In the tutorial course that I'm doing it says that if I cache the bake spectra it should appear, but it doesn't. the .hip is just the wavetank, really simple and fast to load so u can check it out , PLEASEEEEEE The picture is for the full project, I delete everything and I leave just the wavetank. untitled.hip

Hello, I am trying to create a tsunami scene in which a giant ocean wave bringing a large whale with it hits the ground and enter in the city. And of course, I am taking 2012 Shots as reference. Now which is the best way to create a wave like that and also I tried ocean waves node and merged that with ocean spectrum in wavetank_initial but in the fluid simulation particles do not maintain their shape and they just fall down and get mixed with the ocean(Please find attached screenshot). And in Wavetank_Inital it follows the pattern but I when simulate it in wavetank_fluid after some frames the hero wave just starts to fall. So, Whats wrong here, the Process or there is another way to do this effect? Kindly guide me on that. Thanks I have also attached the reference video. Ref.mp4

is there any way to control Ocean surface that it can generate waves only at its last part like we see in real ocean (overall calm but waves in the end)
