petermandik
Hi guys, I created an simple infection system in point vop, but I would like to have some kind of falloff on the edges as the infection grows, but can not find a way how to do that. Could somebody give me a hint or help? I assume that subtracting the position of first point and infected point would work but it is not in my case. Thanks. hannes603
easiest would be maybe that. Or use an attrib blur node inside the solver. soft_infection.hip Edited July 25, 2023 by hannes603
animatrix
If you just want soft falloff at the edges, one of the easiest ways is to use Attribute Transfer SOP:
