kumpa
hi ! since i silently dwell on this forum for some time, i decided to participate in this challenge. I decided to build something like Matsumoto castle, but since traditional playing cards have nothing to do with japanese culture whatsoever, i will whether change the cards or architecture itself. Here are some pictures:
Marc
Great start. Did you build the textures for the cards yourself? It would be interesting to see some japanese style art on the face cards. M

maharzan
Those look very nice. Did you already made this or is this just what you plan to make? I thought you already made these.. It would be great if you can come up something like this.

kumpa
quick update, 2nd floor added and cards changed. I took playing cards from wikipedia an cut them in gimp, since houdini crashed while trying to open that huge image. Hanafuda cards were bit harder to find and they are quite low res. Btw, this castle was built by me for the sole purpose of participating in this challenge. If u like it, give me fistful of dollars and carry it Edited March 17, 2008 by kumpa

exel
damn, this challenge is looking great! I really wanted to try and contribute something, but as usual production has kicked into double-megadeath overdrive mode :shocking: ...I'm looking forward to seeing more submissions, very cool stuff! -JS-
bealobo
It is very nice, the work you've done is amazing. The render is a bit dark though, it would be nice to have more light in there.
