  1. Hi guys, Im doing a simple fracture sim with rbdpacked object and constraint network and breaking few constraints dynamically. so endup with clusters of pieces as usual. Is there any way to get an id attr per set of pieces constrained together after the sim? Thanks in advance.

Hi I'm just studying about RBD solver and its fracturing with first picture's object. and When I setup those with solvers (rigidbody solver and sop solver will be added), I could find some interpenetration in it. Those boxes were having interpenetration, so I've looking for some tutorials about it. and I found 'Glue constrain' but that tutorial used it for fractured(and packed) object. Does 'Glue constrain' be able to used in my situation ?? Thank you for read and always sorry for my poor English. Have a good day
  3. Hey all. I want to separate my sims into different sections, using a different DOP network for each section. When I build a network using the RBD fracture shelf button etc it add the nodes into the first DOP network I created. Is there any ways to pre-emtpively tell Houdini to build into a new, clean DOPnet? Or do I need ot do it by hand every time?

Hello everyone, I am working on voronoi Fracture simulation for bridge destruction effect, and I am facing one problem in my simulation. i used packed object RBD fracture option and when i am simulating my mesh with the external impact of static object, its breaking with all the pieces in a very nice way but some pieces are taking hold in the air. These pieces should be fall down with the other objects but its now going with the flow of simulation. Can any body tell me the reason why is it not falling down ? Thanks
  6. Hey odforce, I'm trying to create a test piggy bank simulation... attached is what I have so far. I can't figure out for the life of my why the coins aren't reacting with the shell of the piggy bank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! ForOdForce.hipnc
