Hi, I have used the smoke trail shelf tool for a moving sphere to generate smoke and then modified the pyro source node to make it like a fire ball. But when my sphere passes from one smoke box to another, some boxes just collapse to the grid center. On viewing in two-dimensional plane I saw that the box which collapse on the center of grid are unable to read any values like temperature, density, etc. So, what do I do? I am attaching the file for review, please someone help. P.S. In "Gas Resize Fluid Dynamics" node, if I change the value of delay frames to 2 and put and "Temperature" in the extra resize field, it works fine, but is it the solution or I am doing something wrong, Please Help. pyroTrail.001.hip

Hello! I'm a total Houdini newbie, so if the answer to this obvious, I'm sorry! I'm trying to make a tire that follows a path using clustering, so I thought the easiest way to do this would be to change the sources given with the sky trail shelf tool and allow the simulation to combust. This mostly works, except one cluster randomly minimizes as soon as it is required in the middle of the path (after the third box appears). This does not happen while the simulation is just smoke with no fire. Any ideas what could be going wrong? plane_smoke_prototype4.hipnc

Hello! When I make a smoke trail, it makes several containers for the same smoke. This is something I love when I make the simulation. But when I export it to VDB and try to render it, it only renders a black cube. I discovered that it was because the simulation had several containers because when I filter it with a Blast and choose only one containers, I avoid this problem. Would there be a way to merge all containers into one? Thank you!

Hey everyone, I'm still kinda new to Houdini and right now I'm trying to get a similar effect like it is shown in this video https://vimeo.com/110820797. I used one of the animated characters in Houdini and put the 'Billowy Smoke' "onto" it. The effect works, but I still have some issues which I can't solve by myself. At around frame 45 the smoke man is not displayed completely anymore. The legs kind of disappear. To check this issues, I also took a sphere as the smoke emitter and I noticed that the sphere already was not fully displayed in frame 1. You'll see the issues on my screenshots. I have really no clue what's causing this and therefore I hope some of you can help me solving this. Thanks in advance, r4ZR smoke.hip
