Guest tar
Customers? This is ILM's proprietary software, they are nvidia's customer. Or are they planning on selling Plume? in-relation to Houdini customers.... It's like GPU rendering - good, limited, and one way forward. Guest mantragora
Well, they are back with some kickass face rig: And while we are in RealTime topic, amazing facial realtime motion capture system.
abvfx
I seen that video yesterday. Really nice rig. I am convinced however that a bone based facial rig at the core is more flexible and less time consuming. I don't know if the poses are driven by blendshapes, it seems like it isn't. There are so many possibilities for "collisions", blendshapes on top of bone based poses seem way more flexible. I imagine that's where those wrinkle maps come in. Also very nice to have a display that speedy.... hint hint SESI

Erik_JE
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/krita/krita-open-source-digital-painting-accelerate-deve Krita started a kickstarter to continue fund their development. Been using Krita myself for most stuff lately and this might get them to fully fill the Photoshop hole on Linux.
