Skybar
AWESOME! I'm sooo looking forward to this! We are currently doing lots of snow and some sand for a big project so this would have been really good to have like yesterday . I'm entering a hibernation until January now lol. tfreitag
every further release it seems to be the right decision to turn away from autodesk!!! SESI...you are crazy .how nicely you listen to the user base!!..most amazing think is the new UI - QT framework. Looks like a lot of nice ideas comes from eXSI guys...like the selection tools. HAMMERHART!And also the animation part seems to be polished. And by the way you will bring position- and crowdsolver on the table. AND SESI: please take the time you needed, that everything works nicely together (esp. the dynamics solver in bi-directional way). Springtime would be ok for me. Lots of gaps filled that will make a generalists life happy yes . it is great to see some interventions which affect generalists' crowd . oh , by the way , the Crowd thing looks great . =} so looks everything showed . well done SESI ! -- one question ( pardon the ignorance ) ; What UX means ? i see it is something UI related .. does that mean the whole Hou UI has got a lot of Love ? .. or parts of it ? ! thanks

malexander
Yep, UX = user experience. It encompasses a broad category of things, such as workflow, interface, tools, and documentation.
zarti
Yep, UX = user experience. It encompasses a broad category of things, such as workflow, interface, tools, and documentation. thanks Mark ! .. and yes , i was just reading about it on wiki , but initially thought it was some-comp's specific product being integrated into Hou . it is great to see you are working on aspects you mentioned ! please keep working in this direction too because it affects considerably everyday's work . Congratulations so far ( 40 days away ) !

henrik.g
Better Animation tools sound great. I am still thinking about doing my animation project next term in Houdini. And how cool is the pig nose thingy in the trailer. Could we all please just take a moment and think about how fun this thing is?? (Sesi's Trailer Team does not seem to be on the vegan side by the way...)
Rainroom
Looks great! But I really hope SideFX comes out with in-depth (not introductory) walk through videos of these new tools along with H-14.
